Well, I must tell you. I received the best cleaning I've ever had in my life yesterday 4/05/12. My dentist is very good and her assistant is special.

Overall, I feel like I had very good dental care at Northridge Dental and I really liked my dentist, Dr. Orna. She is very pleasant, competent and I trust her. I am not happy that it took 6 hours from start to finish. I arrived at 7:45am and departed at 2pm. I chose to get everything done at one time; however I didn't realize how looong it would take! The benefit/finance person told me I needed 1 full & 2 partial crowns. I completely understood the need for 1 crown on the chipped tooth. However, it occurred to me that evening while explaining the big bill to my husband that I was NOT given the option of simply replacing 2 fillings. Did I HAVE to have 2 more crowns or could my cracked silver fillings have been replaced? I regret that I did not ask this question during the somewhat overwhelming/unexpected process that felt like I was financing a car & could drive it off the lot TODAY. I haven't seen a dentist in years. Things have definitely changed. That said, I'LL BE BACK :~)

I found my dental experience to be quite good. I love the use of technology from new patient paperwork, x-rays, and photos to post visit surveys. My appointment was last night (had to have a crown)and already this morning I've talked three families into switching to this dental office. I trust they will be as happy with their experience. Thank you!

I loved all of the staff! They were very friendly and helpful and clearly explained everything. I loved that they went over the cost before doing any procedures. Much better than getting everything done and being slammed with an unexpected big bill afterwards. I also love that you have in-house payment plans, it makes it much easier to deal with the cost, especially without having to worry about interest. The technology at the office is also amazing! You can see all of your pictures right there! It helps you understand your teeth better and being able to see the all of the billing info is great too. It was convenient that I was able to have some work done while I was there for my regular check-up, but I feel that the 4 hours I spent there could have been cut down at least by an hour. That was the only thing I was less than satisfied about, but to their credit, they did check in on me frequently and, as I said before, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Not sure why, but in order to get healthier treatment I have to spend more. Shouldn't it be the other way around??

The staff and Dentist made my visit very comfortable. I felt I made good choice by comming here. I will defiently refer my family and friends here!

The only thing I think needs to change...Is giving dental e-rays every six months. I chekced with ADA, and unless there is an outstanding reason, that amount of x-rays is excessive and potentially harmful. I delclined mine recently for this reason.

Not sure why I sign in, than sit down, then called back up to the receptionist. Why can't that be one motion instead of going back and forth? It happens every time I am there.

my temp came off by the evening but warned it might happen and since I have no pain, it's OK.

Overall, my visit went well. Everything was good. The only complain I have is Toni was to get back to me Tues. Nov 16 about the dual dental insurance coverage to let me know the final cost of my dental work and still haven't received a call.

My only concern is the time I loose away from my job. I work from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and always try to get 8:00 AM appointments. I always arrive on time but end up waiting 30 to 45 minutes before my treatment starts. This is very stressful and annoying. However, once the treatment starts I feel I am very well cared for.

There was a problem with the availability of the person schedule to clean my teeth. In fact, after over an hour after my scheduled cleaning, the doctor filled in for the scheduled person. The wait was the smallest part of my disatisfaction. My disatisfaction lies with not be advised of a delay... just being kept in the dark. In the future, strongly suggest better communication with patients on delays. Had I been advised, I would have been very satisfied as I know delays happen.

While I am fully aware of the benefits of preventive care, unless there is a problem, I am not interested in heading off the possibility of a problem, ex. small cracks in existing fillings, given my age (mid-70's), concentrated attention to oral hygiene, and costs involved. I do, however, appreciate the efforts of the team to keep me advised of the current condition of my teeth and gums during my semi-annual dental check-ups. The friendliness and attitude of the staff keep me coming back to this office!

The entire staff is excellent, but I must point out that Dr. Soroudi in particular is amazing and has made a huge difference in our life! After bad experiences with two dentists, my daughter was afraid to go to the dentist. Heck, even I was afraid to take her to the dentist, dreading another bad experience. Now that we have found Dr. Soroudi and Northridge Dental Office, she is no longer afraid. Dr. Soroudi is so gifted at connecting with kids, gaining their trust, and treating them in a gentle, caring quick fashion. And she always takes the time to answer questions thoroughly. She is the best!!!

It was a pleasure to be treated by my doctor. She is so professional and has such a pleasant demeanor. Also, the hygienist was very efficient.

I was very satisfied with this visit. I didn't have to wait and it went smoothly. That was this visit.However, in the past I was very unhappy about wait times such as 1 to 2 hours and then there not being enough time to complete the procedure that day. One time my husband went and waited 2 hours before walking out of the waiting area. Noone even called to see what happened.

I had an appointment for 11:00 and was told by e-mail that it was 10:30. If you want clients there 30 minutes early, please just say so. One other thing. When xrays are given the chair, drawer handles, pens, switches, computers, equiptment, etc., are being touched. I would hope that ALL THESE SURFACES are cleaned after each use.

Thank you for providing me with the option to work out a payment schedule for my wisdom teeth extraction. I was very grateful to have the option of removing them at once, rather than making multiple trips.

We were VERY impressed with the sensitivity of ALL the staff and how they met all of our needs. It was VERY clear to us that there were there for us and thier FIRST priority was our comfort, and well being as well what our financial status was like came FIRST! The plan for us was VERY honest which made us very at ease and we thank y'all!!

My appointment was scheduled for 8:00 A.M. I signed in shortly after 8. I was not taken to see the dentist until 8:50. The explanation I received from Eileen - who is quite nice - was that she was busy preparing patient charts and checking people out. She said that the specialist (endodontist) was not late. My visit, once I was brought into the room, took all of 10 minutes. Seems like splitting tasks with another person might be a satisfactory remedy for this situation!

My appointment was at 9:00 am, and I didn't get called back until after 9:30 am Then x-ray (machine didn't actually work that great); then another wait for the dentist. I also needed to make an appointment for my teeth cleaning and first when I called there were no openings until November 1-then when I got to my appointment there had been a cancellation, so I got an October 18 date-when I spoke to the dentist about this she tried to get me an earlier appt as I am supposed to have the cleaning ever 3 months. Either you need to hire more hygienists or figure out how to fix it so people don't have to wait 6-10 weeks for an appointment. Also I feel my time is valuable too, and waiting to be seen by anyone for more than 30 minutes is annoying. I do understand there are emergencies sometime, but I don't think that was the problem this time. My 2 cents.

Dr Soroudi, Irma and Nick make a great team. I hope that I will be directed to them in the future. I really appreciate when a medical professional has such a calm bedside manner. Thank you all.

I am extremely satisfied with every aspect of my visit. Everyone was a warm, friendly and kind professional.

It's a happy place- My dog would also love it, but alas . . . Lassie is not invited.

Will be returning in two weeks in order to develop treatment plan. The first visit was an emergency.

I just wish that there was more available times in making an appointment. It takes many months before there is an opening.

The dental staff and dentist's are very kind and personal. The office manager is very rude for being a professional and does not have any people skills in handling customers. The billing staff is ok but they give prices for dental work way above what the cost should be charged compared to our insurance out of pocket cost. It is always a problem getting it corrected. It should be automatic so you do not feel like a cheap stake.

I absolutely love Dr.Barsam. He is just the best. He makes you feel like your dental health and your welfare is paramount to him. I'm sure that he makes all his patients feel as special as I do.

This office is the most professional and friendly I have come across. Every person on staff is more than willing to explain the process and make patients feel comfortable. I have another appointment in July and I have never been so confident in a staff to completely take care of all my dental needs. Thank you!

I arrived on time but it took about 25 minutes to figure out the financial part. That was a little upsetting because I provided all that information when I made the appointment at least a month and a half before. Therefore the time the higienist was cut and she had to rush. However, I have to say that the higienist is the best I ever had. She is very patient, did a very good job and explained every thing without making me feel embarrassed in any way. I reaaly appreciate her. Thanks.
