I had a 3:00 PM appointment but wasn't taken until 3:30 PM. Not sure what the hold up was. The office didn't appear too busy...but an explanation would have been nice. There was a woman that came into the waiting room with 5 children. She left the oldest (appeared about 10 years old) one in charge. They were behaving like 5 little children without supervision. That should be discouraged. I plan on asking for early appointments from now on.

I went to a new dentist this time. Dr. David Villarreal is an excellent dentist. He had knowledge about a situation that I have been wondering about involving my teeth. He helped me understand what was going on and the importance of wearing my night guard. It lifted a huge burden off my shoulders. I am already referring him to other people.

It would be nice to have a written summary at the end of each visit telling what the dollars calculation was and the treatment done and the codes for my home files so I can review my history and list expense at tax time. It can be sent via email later if it is time consuming. Time passes quickly and patients may use these records to remind themselves that they are due for an appointment to get checked. When ever I talk to my insurance company to check out costs they always want codes.

The staff was courteous and pleasant, however, I believe that my wait was too long. I had an 8:30 appointment, and although I was running a little late; I arrived in the office at a reasonable time to be seen. There was a lot of waiting in between services and i did not get done until 11:35.A.M. I also did not like the idea tat i had to fill out my application on the computer where the other patients behind me could see all my input information it made me very uncomfortable. When i asked the receptionist, "what if i do not know how to use the computer?" she replied, "then you could fill out a paper form" I was not offered a paper form choice at the beginning and it would be better to offer the two choices up front and have the patient make their own decision.

The present Dr. Pasha was very good but Dr. Pessa was and remains the best dentist that I have had in 20 plus years. Very professional and extremely technically sound. Demands the highest quality of the staff. A 5 star dentist and i have hated dental visits for 14 out of twenty years while on active duty. She should train the naval dentists on quality work.

The dentist had plenty of trouble keeping the pain from treatment away. but out of all the dentist i have seen he was the first to be sympathetic to the fact that numbing me is difficult and that i was in pain and he was willing to keep trying to keep the area being worked on numb. i appeciate this level of care and thoughtfullness from the staff. this is the first time id be willing to return to a dentst for more treatment just beceause they have compasion and are willing to continue to try to numb so that i can get a majority of the work done with little to no pain. thank you very much
