Staff very friendly as well as professional. Make jokes with us during our visit. My spouse had not been to a dentist, ever, and they did not make him feel badly about that. They were very positive to him and continually assured him they could take care of any problems he might have. All jokes aside, he had NO cavities!

I believe in all my years of going to different dentist offices, this was the first time I felt the dentist was really interested in what service I needed and was willing to work with the special issues I have. He explained everything very well and gave us options that really will work of us.

Very friendly. It was a little noisy at times in the back room with random chatter. The T-Shirts that the receptionists wear are cute, but not the most professional. Maybe polo shirts would look a little better. The water went out, but the office handled it as best they could and it didn't inconvienence me at all.

My only complaint is with the flouride treatment. It's a shame to have a beautiful job of having your teeth cleaned, then have to mess it up with the fluoride. If there's any other way to do it, I'd rather do something else.

It took 2 hours from start to finish. I know first time visits usually take longer but 2 hours was a little long. Overall the staff was really sweet. I didn't like the vitiman paste they brushed on my teeth. I don't think it was explained correctly.

I love this office and all the staff members. Everyone is very professional but also very friendly. The front desk staff went above and beyond for me. When I arrived and only had cash with which to pay, they were trusting enough to allow me to run to the bank after my visit and come back a short time thereafter to pay for my visit. Amazing service. Very understanding of my personal situation.

Overall great, except for the issues with insurance confirming my coverage. However, I believe that was my insurance company and not the dentist office as they tried numerous times to confirm. They got my coverage confirmed and the great visit was worth the wait.

The staff is very friendly and efficient. My appointment was on time and quick and painless but not too quick that I felt rushed through the whole thing. The dentist and staff made sure all my questions were answered and I was never pressured into accepting a treatment I did not want or felt was necessary. Overall, a very good dental experience. I will definitely refer. Only one thing I think could be done to make the experience more personal. I usually register with my legal name, but I go by a shortened form of my legal name. Since my legal name is on the forms everyone sees, that is what they call me. I prefer to be called by the shorter name. I would suggest that a line be added to the form that is readily visible, stating what I would prefer to be called. Then the whole team could use the preferred name. I can get called by the legal name...I have done it for years, but to be called by the preferred name makes me think that everyone is taking a personal interest in me. Just a thought.

Every one was very friendly,and if I had questions or concerns they were able to help me.I liked the way my treatment was explained to me as it took place. My hygeneist was very thourough and made me feel comfortable and she did a GREAT job. I can honestly say, this has been the best dental office I have been to. Everyone seemed to be very knowledgable, and that's very important to me.( I had a very bad experience with the prior dental office) I'm glad I found this dental office to come to.

Being a wuss when it comes to visiting the dentist, my apprehension level is always high. I initially had a couple of girls work with me on my x-rays. They were great considering what they had to work with. They presented the x-rays to the dentist and I guess he wanted a couple of them done over. Enter Sam. He was so good that I believe he took another full set and it was a piece of cake. Very professional and personable. I anticipate all my experiences with Pflugerville Modern Dentistry will be the same if everyone is like Sam!

Just two comments-- making the appointment was a bit of a hassle because the receptionist requested a lot of info that I didn't have handy. It would have been nice if she told me up front what I needed so that I could back when I had everything. The other is that there was no changing table to change my baby's diaper. We had to do it on the floor in the waiting room.

Dr. Poest is the best dentist I have ever visited. Unlike other dentists, he took the time to clearly explain to me what was going on with my teeth, to explain the options, and to thoroughly answer all my questions. He was very pleasant and friendly while also being professional. The dental assistant, Windy, was also very friendly and sympathetic yet sympathetic. I will NEVER go to another office now that I have found this great team.
