The overall process from checking in to check out ran very smooth and timely. All the Dental team members were friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Tamara Garcia had an excellent bed side manner, was very knowleagable in her field and helped create a long term plan for my dental health which I realize is extremely vital for my overall general health.

I would give 5 smiles however coordination between my double coverage insurances has not been as easy as I would have liked it to be. I was provided a dental treatment plan for dental treatment, and the day of dental work was not billed according to my treatment plan because my insurance was not coordinated correctly. This was a little stressful, but overall all the level of care for patients is exceptionally well!!

Office staff, hygenist, and Dentist were extremely friendly (almost perky) and professional. When I stated that I had expected to receive a cleaning on my visit, I was told initially that I would have to return for that because there was no hygenist available on Friday. Before my visit was over the DENTIST (Dr. Garcia) had cleaned my teeth herself. Needless to say I was extremely satisfied.

Just a very minor comment - I would replace the ceiling tile that has water damage in the first exam room. The entire office is spotless, but during my cleaning I stared at that spot for 20 minutes. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I liked that the dentist asked if I would actually use a mouth guard if I had one before suggesting that I spend the money on it. It felt more about me and not as much about making a profit. Wierd that they didn't offer to rinse mouth after cleaning and impressions though.

I was very impressed with the modern technology, from filling out forms online, to the technology used in the office, i.e.: x-ray machine, camera, dental instruments and equipment, flat screen TV's, digital forms and digital signature. Everything together made my visit so pleasant and gave me a sense of trust. In addition, everyone was not only knowledgeable, but portrayed a very pleasant personality, I felt like I knew them before, again, they gave me that sense of trust. Dr. Garcia was sooo personable and treated me with dignity after providing a diagnose and the need for treatment. I also had my 4 yr. old son with me and Dr. Garcia, along with Chris and Christina, went above and beyond to accomodate him and made sure he was comfortable, too. That means a lot to me!

I was pleased with everything and everyone. However, the time I waited for the dentist (after xrays)was too long I felt (approx.40 min). It was my first visit, so I expected to be there awhile, but I ended up being there 2 and 1/2 hrs. Other than that, everyone was very polite, friendly, and professional. I will go back and would recommend this office to others.

I was pleased with all aspects of the practice except for the cleaning. The dentist was going to do my cleaning first (with a cavitron which I don't think was necessary), but due to tooth sensitivity she had the hygienist finish me up. At first I was happy with this since I basically chose this office since there was a hygienist on staff to clean my teeth. My cleaning was the most uncomfortable one I've ever had. I left in pain and have never felt that way after a cleaning. I thought initially that maybe she was a new graduate but she said she had been practicing for 5 years. I also felt that she did not do a thorough job.

I was very satisfied but I did have to wait for 40 minutes for a cleaning after my exam, so I rescheduled. Also, I am pregnant and wish they would have called my doctor to get an x-ray consent before bringing me back to do the x-rays and then having to take me back to the waiting room to wait for the fax. I informed the staff in my online paperwork, and the receptionist that I was pregnant.

The facility is very nice, clean and modern, Cristina did a great job with my cleaning, and I am bringing my daughter to get her teeth cleaning with her. Dr. Tibbets has been exceptionally helpful to our family of four. She is very knowledgeable and she has a great bedside manner. The office staff is also the best that I have ever experienced. SOMD have been very good about squeezing us in for emergency visits (very accommodating). I have recommended Stone Oak Dentistry to my friends and family and many of them have made appointments or switched already. I had the opportunity to choose between 2 different dental plans and I choose the plan that allowed us to go to SOMD. It is not very convenient because we do not live in Stone Oak, but worth the trouble.

I appreciated the dentist taking the time to clean the teeth instead of leaving it up to someone else. I do feel that the office equipment could be more children friendly. Everything was great except for the wait. We had to wait for an hour from our appointment time to when we were called back. I would appreciate knowing in advance if I am being "fit in" so I can prepare. If I am not being fit in and the office schedule is off I would appreciate just being given a head's up while in the waiting room. I was actually not communicated with or greeted in the waiting room. Once I was acknowledged and seen everything else about the appointment exceeded expectations.

I was very happy with my experience at Modern Dentistry. I am very happy with the Dentist. I have one complaint - while my daughter was being worked on the ladies in the room were having a conversation about someone who had lost a baby (my other daughter was also in the room at this time). I don't think this is an appropriate conversation to be having around any patients.

My appt for the broken tooth,dentist was great but with my mouth so small, I prefer female dentist. The assistant (in training) was good but more focused on accuracy of procedure than patient comfort which caused my mouth to be bruised and sore from suction. The crown and root canal appt, the assistant was great, but I felt the dentist, though great was very perfection focused for the string packing and glue. It took a good while for my gums to heal. Maybe I just spent too much time in the dental chair that week and my mouth was still sore from being stretched for the inlay. The good thing, both docs used care with the needles and I had no problems with injection area pain or soreness afterwards. All and all, everything was very good.

My last dentist visit was so horrible that it kept me from going for several years. My husband recently visited a "chain" dentist facility that didn't even get around to cleaning his teeth during his "cleaning" visit because they were so busy trying to sell him on the idea that he needed thousand's of dollars worth of work! You were so polite and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, understood what was going on with medical and payments and were very upbeat. This is the best dental facility I have ever used. Thankfully I found them online.They will be my dental facility from this time forward. I can't speak highly enough of the staff,they were GREAT!
