Just recently had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extraction done through them. The process was pretty straight forward and simple. The doctor made sure I knew the full treatment plan ahead of time. They discussed post-treatment with my wife who was my driver to/from the appointment. Overall very pleasant experience for getting wisdom teeth pulled.

The office visit was excellent. The Benefits Coordinator and Front desk staff answered my questions and explained my treatment plan effectivly. I needed pain meds after the visit and they went the extra mile to ensure the right Pharmacy got my perscription. They even helped me find a Pharmacy close to me. I had awesome service!

Dr Asfar is very professional. The plan with my daughter was clear . I felt however as though when consulting about my daughters treatment it was in a hurried manner. We were standing at the front office with staff present. I feel if there is a consultation that should be in a private area. My daughter is in middle school and gets embarrassed easily. I am only making this comment for constructive criticism . Thank You!

There is always new personel in the office. They never say what their name is and/or what they are going to be doing It is hard to tell the hygeniest from the person cleaning up the rooms..

The only thing i was a little disappointed on was that i had to wait 15 minutes to be seen. especially when i arrived a few minutes early. Otherwise i absolutely love this dentist. i have yet to see the hygenist but i have every faith they will be just as awesome. The original appt for my three children was supposed to be back in September. However, the day before the appt, I received a call from your office stating the doctor they were supposed to be seen by was no longer with the office. Therefore, we had to reschedule to the Oct. 13 date. My gripe is that I wish we would have been given more notice, rather than just the day before. Otherwise, I am very happy with Tierrasanta Dental Group.

I waited about 45 min after my appt time before I was taken back to a treatment room. I had to ask the receptionist how long it would be after 30 min. It would have been helpful if she said something to me before that much time had gone by. Having more than one PC available in lobby for sign in would also be helpful. Everyone else I dealt with was superb- couldn't have gotten better treatment in every way. Thank you!

I verifed with a call what my cost was, had trouble getting a clear answer, was told no co pay,then daughter called and was upset that Rusha said there was a co-pay, then office changed mind. Message was left about pre operative yesterday at 1:00 from RUSHA, my daughter was in for fillings at 2;00 and NO ONE talked to her about her procedure on this friday all her wisdom teeth extractions, no insturctions given. Madi had pain during the procedure,doctor said it was deep, it hurt her she was not numb ebough.So now i have to follow up and call, Receptionist is very nice and Dr. Afshar is professional ,but we need to know upfront what cost are and instructionsfor pre op .

I was very happy with the way I was treated while at the office. Everyone was very friendly. I haven't been to a dentist in over twenty years, and I was a little concerned that I would be roundly chastised for it. This didn't happen at all, and I was very happy for that. The dentist and everyone else in the office were very helpful when explaining procedures and while giving recommendations for my future dental care. I just wish the office was open later so it woulod be easier for me to make appointments after work. :)

Yesterday, it seemed that the office was very disorganized. I had to wait a long time to be called in. Then there was a wait for the Xrays, and I could not understand why I had to wait for the assistant to clean up the xray room until I could leave.

My long term plan will depend on approval by CareCredit. Delay in approval is probably because of my loan modification. I may have to wait at least 6 more months. In the meantime I am applying for PPO dental insurance and will try for a 2nd opinion with another dental office recommended by my RDA daughter.

Good experience. I was expecting to see Julia Ng for dental treatment, but I ended up seeing a different dentist. The different dentist was very nice and professional, so I don't have any complaints about her. I would have liked to know that my usual dentist was unavailable, however. Perhaps this is standard practice for dental "group" offices. I'm not sure what my "treatment plan" is. I have pretty good teeth, so I assume that my treatment plan is to continue getting regular cleanings and x-rays. I'm sure the dentist would tell me if I need to include other things in my treatment plan. Thanks for the great service!
