great appt, great dr and staff

This was a one-time emergency visit while the LaVerne office was being remodeled. I had an enjoyable experience at the San Dimas office, but will probably not be back as I am a regular patient in La Verne.

Although I was late for my appointment due to unforeseen traffic the staff was very professional and kind in helping to get my appointment taken care of immediately. They were also very personable and conscience of their use of my time. They were sensitive of my busy schedule and helped me so I could continue with the rest of my day immediately. I was extremely satisfied with the friendliness of the staff and their treatment and response to me as an individual and not just another client. The dental hygienist was one person that really stood out to me. Not only does Lisa always go above and beyond to be gentle, make me feel comfortable, and tell me how I'm doing, but she takes the time to talk to me and see how I've been doing since the last time I was there. She is very personable and has such a sweet caring spirit. I'm glad to have a dental staff that makes it less intimidating to go the dentist, even as an adult.

After my most recent complaints, the dentist reassured me that they would be able to restore my confidence. I am anxious to put my bad experience behind me.

I finally got my toothbrush, toothpaste & pouch. A few more minutes and I would have left the office again, not being issued one. My hygienest was on top of things...

2nd time I have dental treatment at facility , very suprised they calle dme in right away. Very satisfied with service.

All the girls were friendly, helpful and did their job well. The orthodontist assistant Heidi was very informative and clarified the cost of everything and the orthodontist went over everything step by step so I had a solid understanding of the process.

Dr. Danoukh was wonderful with my son. The whole office was great!!!! :)

Great facility and great service!

After a cardio event that put me in the hospital, I wasn't feeling any better. I thought maybe my dental problems might be a contributing factor. I've walked by the office and was impressed by the modern and clean looks. I made an appointment for an exam and was evaluated by Dr. Danoukh, a connection was made as I felt he understood my situation and gave good advise. As soon as I was able to obtain the release from the Cardiolorgist, the Receptionist book the first available surgery with Dr Anderson. Before the surgery began, Dr Anderson asked a few questions, I was impressed with his cardio knowledge. Apon awakining from the surgical removel of five teeth, I had no pain and later felt that all the problems that I was suffering were gone. I am absolutly thankful and happy with the service and treatment that I received, and feel that it was life saving.

Any somewhat negative response is colored by the amount of treatment I need and it's cost.

The office was running quite late (30 minutes), plus waiting time after my x-rays. Everyone was very nice and apologetic about the delay, but nobody ever explained the reason for it. Also, when I come in I ask that my teeth not be polished. Every time I come in, I am pressured to re-explain and defend my reasons for not wanting the polishing. I am made to feel a bit like I'm crazy and paranoid for not wanting the procedure. At my recent appointment I mentioned that there is evidence that polishing damages enamel, and I was told that I was flat-out wrong. If you could please circulate this position statement from the American Dental Hygienists' Association to the staff, whether or not they agree with it, at least they would be informed that there is in fact some legitimate controversy over polishing and that it is no longer recommended as a routine procedure: http://www.adha.org/profissues/polishingpaper.htm Thank you for your time.

My only comment is in reference to the "deep cleaning" that I received. I was kind of concerned about the post feeling of sensitivity, pain, etc. The end result was nothing like my fears, however I must point out that years ago when I had my by-yearly teeth cleaning done the procedure was very similar to the one that was done this time, except for the laser and the anti-bacterial application. They used the electric machines to scrub the stains and then the polishing finish. In recent years I have noticed that cleaning is only done with hand tools, scrapers, and the other hand tools that I don't know their names. The procedure is almost the same except for the finishing touches mentioned above. The procedure is now called DEEP CLEANING at a substantial higher cost. Please do not take this as a criticism is just an observation point from some one that has been around for a few years and have always taken care of his teeth. I just did not know the new term for what used to be a norma

I felt like the actual teeth cleaning part was done rather quickly. My other hygenist would spend alot of time scraping and really removing the plaque. I felt a little rushed. Took less than 30 mins. Other then that, great job!! Very impressed.

I was very pleased with my check up experience. The dental hygienist worked very gentle with my gums and perfomed her work in a professional matter.

I didn't care for the new office assistant who was very rude when she brought me in to inform me of my daughter's need for fillings, and then told my daughter "sorry, I didn't mean to tell your mother". She was very rude from that point on in the appointment. Even though my daughter just turned 18, I am still responsible to pay for her treatments and we discuss things openly. I thought the assistant could have been more professional. When I asked her a question regarding the cost, she rudely said that the office wouldn't charge that much for fillings, and then laughed. She stood out from the others in the office who are always very nice and professional.

Heidi was very helpful with my insurance situation. She followed up with the insurance during a very painful and stressful time for me. I can't thank her enough.

The Dr.Compean from the start to finish of my dental,is excellent."Two Thumbs Up". He help overcome my fears and trust to dentist (I had past bad experiences). I have low tolerance of pain for dental work up. He is gentle, skillful, knowledgeable.. and pain free.I do appreciate his Dental Assistant "Becky",I described her as innovative and very talented, she made my crown, excellent. Her skills superb and added with personality is great. They truly make you feel as "part of the family". The clinic is CLEAN. I love the high technologies used in all procedures, in clients benefit. With my conflicting personal schedules, the scheduler in front desk, manage to fit in and patient at such.And they remind you of the day before your appointment.I also appreciated and thankful to the "pain-free" experience of my root-canal with the Dr. Khalili and his assistants, I can relate the experience like as I am watching the play of Mozart superb!! Roxanne was wonderful and made me very comfortable. Beatrice was also very pleasant. It was only my furst visit, so we will see how it goes. The office is very clean, comfortable and updated. Good overall experience.

the reason for bag comments about the dentist he let my wife leave with out any pain meds. you don't know the pain she was in!!!!

My xray tech, and she also assisted the dentist in my cleaning was excellent!

I was extremely satisfied with my visit to this office. The staff was very couteous and kind, my 6 year old son accompanied me on my visit and the staff was very helpful and friendly with him as well. I have already referred people to this office and look forward to my next visit.

Prices are a little high

Always pleased with service, but feel I often have to wait too long past appointment time to be called back (this time 45 minutes). Survey asks about greeting time, but not wait time. Greeting is fine - it's the wait either to be called back or while sitting in the chair that is often too long. 9:30 appointment for my daughter's cleaning and didn't leave there until 11:15.
