The office staff has the best customer skills I've seen in a long time. Too often I have been treated like a number. Not at SMDG. When I come in to the office I feel like I'm part of YOUR work family. I happen to be in the waiting room when all the employees were told about the office trip to Cirque du Soleil. Rewarding employees for a job well done is the best incentive. My neighbor recently came in to SMDG for their check up. They to enjoyed the expierence. ***** If I may --- the only thing I would change is the color of the uniform the office staff wears. All the ladies and guys are young and the color brown is too drab and boreing for you lively office.

I appreciate the honesty and professionalism of Dr. Bagheri. He backs up his work and any problems that occur. My crown was quite expensive and although I have had trouble with it the Dr. has worked with me to resolve the issue. I feel comfortable wit him. I think it is important to have a good rapport with your DR. His assistants have all been very nice and professional. I will recommend my husband to him once I pay off this crown.

The only thing that I would have liked better (but didn't think of at the time) would be for the dentist to talk to me about my kids' dental health. The hygienist did a great job, but it would have been nice to talk to the dentist too.

From your office viewpoint, I wouldn't take my less than perfect scores as over critical. The team was great! My scores reflect as happy as one can be enduring an unplanned root canal. My less than perfect scores more reflect my being in a root canal situation after a grueling 15 months of dental complications. No slight intended to anyone from your team.

Reception facilitated a consult with the oral surgeon prior to my daughter's surgery. Exceptional customer service experience, and I love that consents are electronic. Beautiful office, exam rooms, surgical suites. High caliber practitioners. I do recommend consents to treatment be presented, explained and signed at a location other than the front desk area. While my daughter was in surgery, I listened to a woman who had issue with the standard consent form - she was loudly proclaiming about potential adverse effects that are standard language in any medical consent to treatment form. For pediatric patients who are fearful, this would be alarming to hear.

San Marcos Dental Group in the my first time visit. I was paranoid at first but the professional team is extremely friendly and they took care of me very gently and I was very comfortable with them. The Two dentists I met so far is my dentist Dr Tran and periodontist Dr Lee and his partner Dr B ( I am not sure his name) both of them are very caring and professional. I will be meeting with Dr Sood tomorrow and I am sure that I will be very satisfied with him too. I am fortunate to have all of them for me today and in future also, because I know I am in good hands.

I went back to the office the next afternoon at 5 because I had absentmindedly chewed a piece of gum and my temporary crown came off. Jose (?) offered to fix it for me even though he was actually off work. He is always very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Tran, DDS was efficient, professional, and clear in his diagnosis and formulation of treatment plan. Jose, RDA, was friendly and made my daughter very comfortable in the dentist's office. Sierra, Treatment Coordinator, was very helpful and supportive of arranging completion of the treatment plan. Receptionists were courteous and efficient. Overall, a phenomenal office with patient-centered staff.

The Staff was very cordial. The dentist was informative and listened to my dental priorities and goals and he immediately began treatment. I was very impressed with this given over the years I have had to do what the previous dentists wanted to do first based on financial reasons and have had to live with the result of a "less than beautiful metal-ladden smile". At San Marcos Dental I had 3 crowns done in 1 visit and am impressed with my smile already!! I cannot wait to go back to see what else they can do with my smile! :) Thank you San Marcos Dental!!! When a patient checks in. It would be nice to know that the appointments are running an hour behind. My daughter's appointment was at 3pm. She didn't see the Dentist until 4pm. He only was there about 5-7 minutes then she still had to get her cleaning.

I went in for my overall evaluation and cleaning. I was told that I needed a more detailed cleaning which I couldn't afford presently. Instead of getting my teeth cleaned, they let me go. Not happy about that. Should've at least had my teeth cleaned and then in the future scheduled the other cleaning as my budget permitted. Hesitant now to recommend to my family over what appears to be money motivated care. Dr. Tran and really all of your staff are excellent, including the benefits coordinator but the fact that no alternative was offered was troubling. If I truly have serious gum issues you should have at least offered to do the basic cleaning.

I found everyone in the group to be friendly & helpful. I was/am afraid of dentists, but Dr. Tran helped me through my treatment. I wasn't aware that dental care was so costly, but once again, Dr. Tran was very aware of my financial situation & was kind enough to upgrade my crowns at no additional cost. I have more treatment ie; periodontal work & as soon as I can get the money together, I will scheduling that appt.

On the whole the staff was very helpful, courteous, and professional. However, the dental work that I had done was very uncomfortable. I have scleroderma and can not open my mouth very wide. I don't think the dentist understood just how painful it was. Perhaps it would have been better if I had been able to relax my mouth more often. Also, with all the new technology, it would have been good to have each step explained as it was being done.

I was really impressed with everyone there. Jose was the greatest. But 5 days later my temp crown fill out and I'm not too happy about that. I don't feel Dr Lee ended the Root Canal properly, He just left without saying anything to me and the assitant had to finish putting on my temporary. I felt uneasy about that.

Great Experience! There was a wait, but it was handled very well by the staff. They let me know right away that they were running late and there was a wait. I believe it is excellent customer service to let the patient know so they do not sit there wondering and getting upset (not that I would, but some people would). My only issue was not getting a clear explanation - or maybe I just didn't understand - of why a composite filling was more than it ever had been. The benefits coordinator did explain - but given the size of the filling, it just did not make sense.

I am quite pleased overall with the dental group. My only suggestion is when dentists are reviewing recommended dental work...that various options (price, quality, etc.) are discussed verses the "most expensive" option. When I initially saw the estimate for bridge work recommended...there was only the "expensive" option reflected...asked for alternative options from the benefits coordinator and a second option was more favorable. I was seeing another dentist and was sent to San Marcos Dental Group for a root canal. I liked the people in your office so much I switched my primary care dentist to you. Also, I really do not like going to the dentist; however, everyone at San Marcos Dental Group is so nice and they make me feel so comfortable I do not feel so bad about going to the dentist. Everyone is wonderful at the San Marcos Dental Group, the office staff are great. The assistants and dentists are great, but I would like to mention that Ashley went above and beyond when helping with my treatment plan and billing. Jose was also great when assisting. He is very professional and nice. He made me very comfortable and is very caring and gentle. It appears that he goes above and beyond the call of duty.

The only detriment was that I felt the dentist was rushing a tad bit while doing my dental work. He nicked my interior cheek with a drill and I was bleeding quite a bit. I do have a large blister in that area now, which admittedly is pretty painful. Hopefully this won't happen when I come back next week for the remainder of the work.

I really liked Dr. Fowler. He was the first Orthodontist that gave me the option of waiting for a while instead of assuming that I should do Orthodontics. He also clarified that Invisalign would not correct my bite as well as traditional braces would.

There were several problems and delays with my dental insurance. The level of customer service Sierra provided could not have been better. I was ready to call it quits but Sierra promised she would get to the bottom of the insurance issues. She should get the employee of the month plaque and the reserved employee parking space (ha ha).Every person I had contact with had great customer service skills. To the point that Maralise offered me some water and then asked me "is there anything I can do to make your visit better". I like good customer service. I LOVE great customer service.

Privacy was my main concern. Receptionist asking very private questions like med. history in front of other people seated close by is inappropriate as far as I am concerned. Not her fault.....Suggest replacing those 2 chairs with plants for some privy. I like the neat bathroom. Dr Tran and Gina are superb.
