My dentist was professional, thoughtful, and gentle - overall, GREAT. My hygienist was a little rough on my sensitive teeth, and I had a hard time hearing her explain things to me over the loud equipment she was using between us. The rest of the staff was very kind, understanding, and always had smiles on their faces.

Dr. Dent found my tooth broke at the jaw bone and was able to extract it with little effort. The pain medication worked great I only used two pills, then] was no bleeding once I was home and no pain today. Everything worked out great.

I'd be happier if the teeth we worked on were completely pain-free, but I understand that results vary for reasons out of the dentist's control, and they've been very willing to continue to work to get everything sorted out. I had a very difficult molar extraction, so my lack of comfort is not related to the Sugar Land staff. However the dental hygienist was Excellent in providing personal comfort and support during the procedure. The cost for the dental procedure for that day was clearly explained, but the cost for the long term repair options (bridge, implant, etc.) was not provided to help in my decision making.

I felt very welcomed. The office manager was GREAT! There was a problem with our insurance and she was wonderful...she solved all issues and made us feel welcome. The dentist was charming and willing to answer all my "nagging" mom questions.(They even let me stay in the room). He engaged Josh with baseball stories. He was GREAT. The Hygienist is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and portrays that. She wasn't friendly, borderline rude when explaining certain things. I felt pressured. Once again I do go back to her knowing her stuff and taking the time to explain and even playing the cleaning video TWICE to make sure I understood everything clearly.

The staff is very professional. I love the technology at the dental office and the cleaning that I got yesterday was really good. But, we are a military family and we belonged to a huge community so an extra dental discount for our US soldiers at the time that we have to pay out of pocket (for dental treatments)like in my case yesterday, it might be a nice gesture from the Sugar Land Modern Dentistry. A military discount is something that the office does not offer at this moment.

The dental hygienist that did my cleaning seemed to be rushing to get to her next appointment. She missed a couple of spots that I had to touch up with an explorer when I got home. Also, I was not a huge fan of the way she spoke to me about flossing. The rest of the office did an awesome job from start to finish!

C Receptionist was very personable and friendly and helpful when I called to make my appointment and when I came in. Dr. Alexander took her time and explained everything to me. Overall I am satisfied. However, when I called to schedule the appointments for myself and my two children, I was told the office does not see more than two family members on the same day. I was able to schedule our appointments on two separate days this time, but I would not expect to have to do that in the future. I don't understand the dental office need to split the appointments, and my preference is to make one trip to the office for our family cleanings.
