Wow! Best dentist office ever! I was particularly impressed that people took time to explain everything rather than treating me like I couldn't think for myself. The only concerns I have whenever I am at Spanish Trail dental offices would be the piped in music that is less than conducive to my relaxation level and the chatter,continual loud giggling on the part of the employees in the hallways behind the treatment rooms. All the folks who serve me directly are very professional but the party time atmosphere including singing along with the music is irritating to me.

on number 18 tooth I still need it leveled off abit more it feels like a popcorn kernal is stuck to it. It hits sooner than the other side and I have to chew on that side in order to get the food chewed properly. My previous dentist built up my back teeth to help with my jaw clicking and headaches. He also had to relevel a few times until it was comfortable. I do need it taken care of quickly.

No problem with the care buy am a little put off by the costs and the unfair pricing when paying cash versus those with insurance. STDG gets a lot less from insured patients than those paying cash. That makes no sense to a cash paying customer. I offered to pay the amount you would get from insured patients in cash up front but was denied that option. Again, seems unfair. In fact it seems like a cash customer is subsidizing the insurance companies.

This was my first dental visit in a very long time and I was really nervous about the pain and proceedures that may be needed. The staff was very sensitive to my fears and explanined everything before they did anything. My cleaning was painful but the hygenest was so nice and careful that I felt better about it. The cost of care caught me off guard. Upon research I found that fees are in line with other providers so that's just the way it goes. I was very impressed by the technology the team uses in their diagnosis. It appears to be cutting edge. The office is clean and the staff very pleasant. I arrived prompty at 8 for what I thought was the first appointment of the day yet had to wait 15 minutes to be evaluated. That was probably due to the number of patients who arrive late thus the staff building in wiggle room. I was most appreciative of the staff being accommodating of my need to get out of the office to make an appointment in the Phoenix area. They got me out in time. Thank you.

The entire experience was great but the party atmosphere in the hallway outside my treatment room was loud and offensive. Lots of chatting, gossip and giggling by employees. This distraction didn't coincide with the very professional attitude I encountered with the staff who directly served me. Also,there was lots of noise and laughing in the main reception area when we were paying our bill and leaving after 5 hours.

The next day I had trouble getting my floss out of between my crown. I called and spoke with one of the receptionist and asked her to check with the doctor and call me back, she said she would, but by the end of the day I never received a call. I called again and this time the receptionist talked to the doctor and answered my questions and concerns.

Although I was satisfied with the visit, I had a bit of a hard time speaking with the benefits coordinator regarding the cost of anesthesia for my daughter’s upcoming procedure, and whether or not it was completely necessary. At first she was very adamant about the use of anesthesia, without checking with the actual doctor who was going to perform the procedure. After she spoke with his office, however, she was able to give me options. My daughter did also feel that the hygienist was extremely rough with her, causing her mouth pain after her cleaning.

The only thing that I wasnt satisfied with was my last visit...I had a 10:45am appt for a new patient exam/cleaning. I didnt get out of the office until after 12:00pm...with NO cleaning. I just feel frustrated that I have to make time for yet another appt for my cleaning, when I was under the impression that it was going to be done that day. Other than that, everything was great!

The X-ray technician may be new, but she seemed to have trouble with the X-ray process. Had to move bitewings and take some shots multiple times and getting cords crossed and having to step over while attached device was in my mouth. Also, the velcro on the protective vest seems to be worn. I had to hold the vest up because the velcro would not hold.

Very efficient and customer service oriented. My dental insurance has good coverage. I usually pays up front and the insurance is then billed. Many a times I find there is money due me but I do not find out until my next appointment which may be anywhere from 4-6 months later. Would like to either have the insurance bill first and then the balance bill to me or at least send the overpayment to me as soon as my insurance reimburse the office.

Scheduling has always been a hassle from this office. If I need an evaluation and a teeth cleaning, often times I have to come back twice - which is very inconvenient. Also, when being scheduled for an appointment in August for a consultation, I was called twice by staff asking to reschedule - which in my opinion caused my dental issue to worsen, when it could've already been taken care of. Besides scheduling, this dental office is very professional and hard-working.

But because of my health situation, I would be replacing them again in another 2 years. I was very happy but the service... I took my three year old and the service and the staff were EXCELLENT. However I feel as they should have asked me if I wanted to apply to fluoride barnish and the cleaning solutions myself; I believe an effort should have been made to do it in the office. Especially since my son was very good and cooperative, I believe we could have actually done it in the office, but it was kind of expected that I did it at home... We are billing my insurance company any way for those "services" not just the supplies... But I am really happy with the overall experience, the service, and the politeness of all the staff we had contact with... :)
