I don't worry about going to the dentist since I see the great team of Dr Hetchko and Tabitha. They are both outstanding at their work and I feel glad to be their patient. The benefits coordinator is also top rate. The hygenist who did my cleaning seemed tentative and not comfortable putting a finger in my mouth to hold my cheek away from the cleaning. It was odd, but the cleaning itself was fine.

I needed to be out of your office by a certain time to meet my other obligations. I called several days prior to the appointment to make sure I could have my service completed in an hour. I was told it could be. When I arrived for my appointment. I noticed a big red note on my chart that said I needed to be done by one o'clock. I was rather surprised to be told to put my coat on the floor in the corner when having x-rays taken. Didn't know coat hooks were so expensive! You might want to rethink the location of handicap parking. It is farthest from the entrance, not close-in as it should be. Also, it had snowed the night before. The sidewalk from the regular parking was cleared. The sidewalk to the handicap parking had not been touched, even though it was mid morning. (Perhaps you are attempting to discourage those with handicaps from visiting your office?)

I utilized a Dental Spa prior to this, so I was a bit disappointed with the exam rooms and their generic atmosphere and high level of advertising. I was in your office for 5 1/2 hours and there were numerous times the hygienist or dentist left the room to get something and came back 15-30 minutes later with no explanation.

Over the last few visits the office is notably busier, which is good, but time management of the scheduling is off because both times I had a long wait. I usually schedule my appointment during the day, which is also my business day and when told an appointment will be an hour or an hour an half waiting an hour during the scheduled appointment time is discouraging. I would hope that you schedule and plan your days not only effeciently for the doctors but also your patients. We have a schedule to keep as you do.

I came in with a specific issue that was causing discomfort. It did not appear that the hygenist was aware of the problem and continued with a different agenda and proceeded to do a basic evaluation and recommend specific gum treatments. I believe that may have been premature as I needed the first issue fixed before going on to maintenance type procedures. That was a little frustrating (and a little painful too).

I felt the initial Hygenist that I saw, after the dental assistant took xrays, was pushy, did not treat me gently, listed one negative after another about how "bad" my build up was, showed me the buildup I felt to rub it in my face, acted impatient with me when I was obviously uncomfortable, I left after A CLEANING in pain, bleeding, it was not what I was expecting and have never left a dentist feeling like that. Dr. Jess and the dental assistants I worked with were wonderful and because of them I will be returning, Dr. Tammy (I think her name was) I will request to never see again.

I was with Tamara. I have had her in a past visit as well, and did not like working with her then either. She was looking at other patients records in from of me while I was in the chair. She spoke to me in a childish tone. She took forever. She was not gentle. After getting in the room, I had to wait fifteen minutes for her, then she decided she didn't like that room and wanted to switch to her room. It may be a personality difference, but I would prefer not to work with her again. I love walnut creek and have referred several people there. I know two of the people George Warrick and Rob Mirelez have both been there and have liked it also.

I understand it is difficult to always keep to an accurate schedule and I really do appreciate that once I am in "the chair" I am given quality time, but it is very difficult for me when the staff is running 20+ minutes behind schedule as that puts me behind schedule. I was told it was a 45 minute appointment, I blocked off 1 hr. I was in the office 1-1/2 hrs. and this extra time was waiting to be seen. I really do appreciate the treatment I receive at Walnut Creek. Everyone is excellent. I just have a challenge with planning my schedule when they are so far off schedule.

The room in which I was treated had ..."faulty" electronics:: when the staff-person clicked the floor pedal for the chair to recline, it was VERY jerky! Two or three different staff members commented on "this rooms is the worst" "yah, the chair's been a problem" . Otherwise, all was great! THANK YOU!
