About the Author
Peggy Chu, DDS, MS, is a Smile Generation®-trusted doctor and an Owner Doctor of her own practice. A lifelong student of oral health, she takes pride in her work as a Smile Generation blog author, which allows her to share her knowledge on good oral hygiene practices with patients and the general public.
In her spare time, Dr. Chu does overseas mission work through Global Health Outreach to provide dental care to underprivileged communities worldwide. At home, she keeps herself busy with her husband and daughter by playing piano, singing, and reading.
Education
Dr, Chu received her Doctor of Dental Science degree from the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry. Prior to that, she earned a Master of Science degree as well as dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology from the University of California, San Diego.
