Deepika Dhama

About The Author

Dr. Deepika Dhama is a seasoned clinician with nearly three decades of experience in dentistry. A graduate of J.N. Kapoor, D.A.V Centenary Dental College, she currently leads one of the nation’s first co-located dental-medical integration (DMI) practice at Culver Smiles Dentistry in Irvine, California–part of a groundbreaking collaboration between Pacific Dental Services® Health and MemorialCare.

Her clinical expertise spans restorative and prosthetic dentistry, implant placement, removable appliances, and salivary diagnostics. She also incorporates advanced technologies like CAD/CAM, CBCT imaging, and digital workflows to deliver efficient, high-precision care.

A national and international speaker on oral-systemic health, Dr. Dhama champions the integration of dentistry and medicine through a focus on early diagnosis, predictive care, and the Mouth-Body Connection®. She uses tools such as A1C testing and salivary testing to proactively assess risk and support long-term health outcomes. She also leverages Epic®’s integrated health record system to support seamless collaboration between dental and medical teams.

In addition to mentoring clinicians in treatment planning and case acceptance, Dr. Dhama serves on several leadership committees, including the PDS National Clinical Council, Dento Clinical Advisory Board, and Epic Dentistry Steering Board, helping shape the future of integrated, patient-centered care.
