About The Author

Dr. Cheng “Lulu” Tang is the owner dentist of Sahara Modern Dentistry in Las Vegas, Nevada. A graduate of Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry, she opened her practice in 2021 with a vision to redefine patient care through integrated dentistry. After early success with this model, she partnered with Sahara Health Group to offer daily access to medical and primary care–bringing the Mouth-Body Connection® to life through one of the region’s first co-located dental-medical integration models.

Known for her public advocacy and forward-thinking leadership, Dr. Tang has been featured in ADA News, Generations of Smiles magazine, and major news outlets including Las Vegas’ News 3, where she highlights the power of preventive care, oral DNA testing, and salivary screening. Her work centers on education, innovation, and improving long-term health outcomes by connecting oral health to whole-body health.

As a member of the National Clinical Council at PDS Health, Dr. Tang helps shape clinical standards, mentor fellow dentists, and champion the next generation of integrated care leaders. She is also a regular contributor to Generations of Smiles and a recipient of the PDS Health Platinum XP Award–spearheading efforts that are redefining what modern dentistry can achieve.
