This month our Smile Generation®-trusted offices are coming together to make our dent in the overall water crisis, because together we give.

I don’t always think we can imagine what it’s like to not have water. There are times on hot days when I forget my water bottle and think as I drive how nice it would be to have some cold water. Usually the drive is short, and I make it home safely to fill up my reusable water bottle with clean filtered water. If I’m really thirsty, though, I can stop at any of the hundreds of convenience stores and get anything my heart desires to drink. I know -this whole story sounds pretty pathetic even talking about it. I don’t know what it’s like to truly be thirsty. But for 1 in 10 people around the world who lack access to clean water, they know what true thirst feels like every single day. We at the Smile Generation are on a mission to change that.

We know the impact that clean drinking water can have on the life of an individual, a family, a community, and a country. When a village has access to safe, clean, drinking water children can go to school and get an education, women can take better care of their families. Clean water has the power to transform the present and the future. People can become healthier because their water is clean and safe, and happier when they see their families and communities flourish.

And happier people is what we strive for.

This month, in all 630 Smile Generation®-trusted offices, we’re coming together to make a small dent in the overall water crisis. Our goal is to raise 00,000 and provide water to over 13,000 people. It’s a small number in comparison to the 663 million people who still need clean water, but together we can give to change lives and make an impact on the water crisis.

I’m thirsty for change are you?
