In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing with a novel and, most of all, spending time with his wife, Julia, his four children: Landon, Shane, Mayah and Caleb, and little dog Roguey. Dr. Pickett is an Eagle Scout and a current volunteer scout leader for the Boy Scouts of America.
