I have experienced homelessness, which led to a nomadic lifestyle, learning new languages and cultures. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in biochemical and biophysical sciences from UH. My education continued at the UTHealth School of Dentistry, the University of Washington, University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, and Howard University Hospital.
